Thanks PJ! I crumbled up the dough as finely as I could and then added the stick of cooled melted butter. I chilled it overnight as suggested and it worked out fine. I'm glad to have salvaged the batch of dough, though I'm looking for another scoop and bake holiday cookie. I too am a lazy baker. Glad it worked for you, Teresa.
