Hi Carrie, yes, you can freeze the dough in scooped balls, as recommended in this blog post, or you can refrigerate the dough in the bowl for a few days. Because of all the pumpkin in this particular recipe, I think it would work best to refrigerate the dough in bulk form rather than in scoops.
