If Matt is still around,...and or the KAF staff, I am hoping to make a popover using water instead of milk. Guessing it won't be as tasty or a complete success, but I only desire something (much) less expensive than Ezekiel 4:9 bread that still has the benefit of sprouted whole grain and no dairy. Based on what Matt says in his posts, I wonder if this will work: Weigh sprouted grain ww flour (4.25 ounces), then soak in warmish water to soften the bran edges (how long?); use 1/2 Tbsp extra ghee (in place of butter) to replace some of the milk's fat; use 5 large eggs instead of four, to replace the milk's protein--and put them in a blender until frothy; then add the other ingredients (maybe a little extra salt for flavor?) and blend again, to create more bubbles. Of course, pop immediately into a pre-heated pan with maybe some drippings from a pastured animal. Any advice? (Thank you)
