Would letting it sit for 2 … by Justyne (not verified) Justyne, the starter can be mixed and then left to rest for up to 15 hours in advance. After two days, the yeast will have lost its "oomph." Prepare the starter the night before you're ready to bake for best results. Kye@KAF Reply
