Thanks for the lovely recipe, can I make it without the espresso powder in the cake? Also going to make a chocolate buttermilk frosting instead, do you have one that you can recommend that may work? My husband cannot have caffeine due to health issues but do want to make him this cake for his upcoming birthday.
