Forgot to ask- Can the starter be frozen? If so, how would you handle it? Thanks again for all the info! Usually you can freeze your starter with success but you do run the risk of having it not make it. You can try freezing some and store some in the refrigerator. Also I have heard that you can dry some on a piece of parchment and store that in your cupboard in an airtight container. You could try all three methods and see what works for you.
