Well, I'm off to the kitchen to try this again. My first batch did not make it through the chilling stage. The kids came across the dough and polished the whole thing off. I'm going to try using the approach I use for Magic in the Middle cookies. I make an enormous batch, cooking half and freezing half. Hopefully, having fresh cookies on hand will ensure that the dough will survive to the baking stage this time!
