Can you scoop the dough on to the cookie sheet before refrigerating? Sometimes I find the chilled dough a bit hard to work with. Can't wait to try this recipe. My favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe I currently use is a recipe from your cookie cookbook. Mary, don't see why you couldn't scoop first... the dough might dry out even more quickly, but what the heck, see how it goes. I hope you're going to try our recipe; I really don't see a need for both bread flour, and bleached cake flour in cookies, which the NYT uses in their recipe. Have fun! - PJH
