So nice to see another Canadian (Sherri from Calgary) who agrees with me that the Okagan Valley in British Columbia grows the best peaches in the world. Bar none. I live on the west coast near Vancouver and peaches don't grow well around here because our weather is too wet and cool but the Okanagan Valley is hot and dry and their fruit, including cherries, apricots, apples and pears are divine. It's worth a three hour drive to buy the best from the stands along the highway. Love this website. Unfortunately, we can't get King Arthur flour here. I guess I'll have to improvise with what I can get. Thanks for the great recipes and the beautiful pictures showing every step.
