Thanks. Yes, I used late afternoon window light but I agree that lately it has been awfully gray outside. Some people are fond of using light boxes for food photography but I've never tried it myself. No, me either. I just work with what I can find - a "natural daylight" lamo in the kitchen (which really sheds quite unnatural fluorescent light), and a big north window. Which is fine in winter - but not so good these days... Well, soldier on, eh? PJH
