Hi Nedra! Precooking other types of fruit for your crisp is certainly doable. You may have to adjust the bake time depending on the ripeness and juiciness of the specific fruit you are working with. Check the fruit after 20-25 minutes of baking and if it looks ready, continue on! If it's not quite there after that time, continue checking in 5-10 minute increments before adding your crisp topping.
