I've tried this recipe twice and the dough rises nicely and I'm able to roll it into ropes without any trouble. As soon as I brush the ropes with egg white, they get very sticky and difficult to work with. The ropes stretch and the loaf looks okay, but is probably longer and thinner that it should be. Suggestions?
