I’ve not had any luck using airtight containers to keep gingerbread cookies crisp. (My preferred gingerbread crispiness level is what I refer to as Tarter Control.) They seem to do slightly better in a regular looser top container even though my kitchen is typically 50% relative humidity. Would including a silica gel pack from a vitamin bottle in my airtight container be safe and effective?
