Another Thanksgiving time hint. I have cooked my turkey in a paper bag for years. Add peanut oil to grocery sack, allow to cover interior, and pop turkey inside. This will reduce cooking time almost down to 15 mins a pound, and turkey is juicy and flavourful. I was introduced to this by a tv chef ( no idea who) fifty years ago, and have been roasting turkeys this way ever since.
