Hi Mel, most bundt pans will list a total capacity as well as a bakeable capacity. The total capacity is if you filled the bundt pan right to the rim, while the bakeable capacity is how much batter you can safely put in the pan. For example, a 10-cup total capacity Bundt pan will typically have a 6-cup bakeable capacity. In this blog post PJ is using a half-sized bundt pan, which has a 3-cup bakeable capacity.
