Hi Steph, this isn't something we've tried, but as long as you can get the cream cheese frosting thin and smooth enough, it should work. However, be sure to freeze the cake well before trying this (longer than the 30 minutes recommended in the recipe). We wouldn't recommend trying this with a whipped cream frosting.
