Hi Margaret! The two items you mentioned above generally just require a room temperature to ferment and using a warmer setting that this proofer would provide could risk mold formation. Still, this appliance is capable of incubating these types of foods like yogurt and miso, which require a slightly warmer environment than room temperature. Happy baking!
