It will be my first attempt at using my new starter. How do I know my starter is ready to bake with? Right now it’s doubling in volume within 4-5hrs of feeding.
For my first attempt I want to make one loaf to start (have to ration that bread flour!). Should I have any concerns about cutting the recipe in half?
