I made these Amish rolls for Thanksgiving. I veganized it. Vegan butter, flax seed eggs (2 Tbspn ground flax seed and 6 Tbspn water...mix and let sit 5-10 minutes). Dough was a little sticky but not overly so. I weighed the dough to 1.5 oz each.
Looked just like the KAF pic. WAS FANTASTIC! Best rolls I've ever made and I like to make bread. We devoured them. Also brushed with vegan butter out of the oven. Here's my question: Could I make this dough into a bread? If so, could I double? And if not doubled, would that make about a 1 lb loaf? Want to double as we can't stop eating it. What size pan would I use and for how long in the oven at what temp?
