I used the Lodge cast iron biscuit (mini-cake) pan and just drop large tablespoons of dough into each well of the preheated pan. I don’t even put in any shortening. Hubby says these are the best biscuits I ever made. I do the same for scones. Super easy…no rolling or cutting.
