I’ve used cake strips for years, since seeing them in Rose Levy Beranbaum’s Cake Bible. They have always worked like a charm. Mine are the older T-pin closing type. Velcro looks great! I have a 12” x 16” pan that I used for party cakes for my daughter’s birthday parties. The 2 cake strips pin together and go around it perfectly. Remember that for rectangular pans!
