Hi Donna! We can't think of a tastier welcome treat. Popover batter really needs to be baked pretty soon after mixing. We'd recommend having your dry ingredient all ready and mixed together and your wet ingredients (minus the eggs, leave those on the counter to warm up) ready and mixed together so that when you get home you can mix up the batter and bake without having to do any measuring. You could also possibly preheat the oven before you leave (if someone's at home and it's not too far of a drive) so that you really could just get home, mix, and bake right away. Annabelle@KAF
