Hi Mags, I don't think it's necessary to alter the baking temperature when baking in a cast iron scone pan, nor would I recommend preheating the pan. Baking time is likely to be quite close to the baking time listed, or perhaps a few minutes longer; I would check at the time indicated on the box and then reset the timer from there, if necessary. Look for all the usual signs of scone doneness: light golden color around the edges and firm to the touch in the center of the scone.
