Hi Linda, it sounds like you successfully revived your starter a few months ago, and if you haven't seen any further signs of pink coloring, and it continues to look and smell good after all this time, it certainly isn't harmful to use it in your baking. Sounds like you nipped this one in the bud and your diligence over the past few months has made sure that your starter remains healthy and active. Bravo!
