I made 1.5 times the recipe, making a full-sized star and a half-sized one. I cut the small one just like the big one (16 wedges), and it turned out fine. I had to be a little more cautious not to tear the strips from the center, but the dough is wonderfully stretchy, and it wasn't an issue at all. I am in the process of baking now, but the smaller one is the same thickness as the big one, so I anticipate roughly the same baking time.
