I tried it today with my variation of the KAF Quick Batch rolls. I normally cook them for 20-25 minutes (which was usually about 200 degrees in previous experience), but at 15 minutes I inserted the thermometer -- and they were already at 192! I pulled them out of the oven immediately. They were much paler than usual even though I brushed them with olive oil prior to baking, but yummy and fluffy. I may try your other tricks for browning them, but I will likely stick to the lower temp. Thanks!
