I have a question about tip #10. I made the lemon bundt and it stuck to my cathedral bundt after brushing with melted shortening. When it came out, I used a plastic knife to help separate it from the pan. I jiggled it upside down on the rack to encourage it out, nothing helped.
So I followed tip #10, put cake back in the still warm oven. My question is what do i do when i take it out of the oven this time. I am supposed to immediately try to turn out the cake or should I go through the cooling procedure again before attempting to turn out the cake. I ended up trying to turn it out right after taking it out of the warm oven and things did not go well for me. However, the cake was delicious and was quite a hit.
