Okay I'm going to try your version. I have always used my Kitchen Aid for pie crust and used my grandmothers recipe. Almost the same as yours but I use Crisco (out of the blue can, not the bars) mixed in with flour and salt. The I add 1/4 cup BOILING water (sometime a tad more). Dough comes together perfectly, divide in half, roll out each piece between wax paper and whala, no refrig. time. Crust comes out very nice. Love following your blog and your products.
