Hi Katrina, one of the most common reasons why baked goods turn out crumbly is because too much flour is used. For best results, we either recommend measuring your flour using a scale or measuring like this. Using this fluff and sprinkle technique ensures that just the right amount of flour is added to the dough, and the shortbread should come together nicely. If it doesn't feel free to add 1-2 tablespoons of milk until the dough is smooth. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
