Was wondering when substituting starter in recipes that call for milk/buttermilk you could use a dry milk or buttermilk powder? Would you reduce the flour in recipe by equal weight of powdered milk used. Or could you feed your starter with milk or buttermilk instead of water and use that starter as a substitute in a recipe ?
