Try doing it the other way round turn the oven up as hot as it will go with The Dutch oven. Bake the bread at its highest temperature for 10 minutes then reduce the temperature to 220 Celsius bake for a further 20 minutes when you think it’s done Bake it for another five minutes. Make sure the oven is fully heated before you use it sounds simple I know but sometimes it can take up to 30 minutes to pre-heat.
