Thanks for adding more context here, Bronwen. We realize the dried fruit we're using aren't actually currants but dried Corinth grapes. Given that the box at the grocery store is labelled "Zante currants", we refer to them as currants as well to avoid any confusion. Hope this helps to clarify! Mollie@KAF
