1) People worried about cooking with foil should do a brief online search. I’m not worried by the information I saw. 2) About parchment paper: is wax paper a satisfactory substitute in a bacon pan? We use it in the microwave, to line cake pans, to save cleanup on cutting boards, etc. It’s inexpensive and very useful. 3) If sugar or syrup is added to the bacon, remember to let your guests know. Diabetics and others have to avoid sugar.
