We like your inventiveness, Robin. While we think the flavor would be spot on, we're worried the sponge would become too delicate and not be able to serve as a sturdy base. You might have a hard time getting the sponge to stay in tact if it's soaked with all that deliciousness. Perhaps you should save your sweetened condensed milk in one of these other tasty recipes.
