Hmmm... What do you do with the left over cores? Did I miss that? Could you make a little extra buttercream and layer the cores and the buttercream and make a sort of trifle? Or is there not enough for that. I just hate to see good cake go to waste. Sure! The leftover cores are perfect for dipping and snacking!
