In your Baker's Companion Cookbook (that I adore) there is also a slight variation to make these into bread sticks. Which I have done many, many, many times. I can no longer make spaghetti and meatballs without those bread sticks. They are simply to die for. And the best part about them is that they don't take that long to make (the rise time is fairly short) making them an easy "after thought" to add to the dinner table. Thank you for this recipe. My family (and I) love you for it! Ah, I'd forgotten that - thanks for the reminder! Might need to make some bread sticks to go with my Sunday spaghetti... PJH
