Opps... I made shortbread cookie dough and used unsalted butter. First batch baked and they tasted odd. I had put half the dough aside to bake at another time... Now I am wondering if I can save it by kneading salt into it? Will this ruin it completely? The portion in the freezer now is 2c flour, 1c unsalted butter, 1/2c brown sugar.... Please help!
