These look great. Two questions- can you suggest a dairy-free substitute for the buttermilk? And, to lower the fat content, could you use less oil or maybe combine oil and applesauce? For the buttermilk, try using 1 tablespoon of vinegar added to 1 cup of soy milk, or other milk replacement. The oil/applesauce alteration will be an experiment. Give it a try. Frank @ KAF.
