1. I've never used cake flour before--my cake specialty is pound cake, and they always seem to be just fine with my handy all-purpose flour. 2. I would bake a cake for my husband who has been taking such good care of me during my pregnancy and is about to be a father for the first time. This cake looks tasty--I'll have to try it out soon!
