I have a question. I am always told to oil or shortening the cast iron pan, but they end up sort of stick and feeling not at all clean. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong??? You are correct, Libby. Try using a little less oil or shortening. A light coat is all it needs. Elisabeth
