Class Description

Join us for 4 hours of exploration into the world of Rye.  We’ll bake our way through the three most common types of rye flour you’ll find: Pumpernickel Flour, Medium Rye Flour, and White Rye Flour, by making a yeasted bread, a pastry, and a cookie.

We’ll discuss what can make rye so difficult to work with, as well as cover some tips and tricks to help you welcome this often dismissed grain into your baking repertoire.
