Firstly, I'm a new baker and this was the first time I tried to make gingerbread cookies. Unfortunately, the end result was me throwing the dough in the trash because I couldn't work with it. I tried making the gingerbread cookies using the parchment and plastic wrap (idea in the recipe) to roll out the dough. That part of the process worked great. However, when I tried to flour the gingerbread form, the flour would not stick. So, I rubbed the gingerbread form with butter so that the flour would stick to it. After pressing the gingerbread form into the dough, the immediate problem I had was that the dough form stuck to the parchment and would not come off. When I tried to peel the dough form from the parchment, it broke apart. This happened with every piece I tried to make. So, how the heck am I supposed to form cut dough and peel it off?! I'm a visual person so I need pictures too.
