Hi Sandy, I would experiment with halving the recipe and baking in a quarter sheet. Baking time should be about the same, or a bit shorter, and you may not get much doming. On the other hand, if you went with the half sheet, freezing some of those extra mini layers would set you up for another round of mini cakes the next time you are in need of a sweet treat.
