Back to the 80s, I worked w/a gal who treated the office w/the most memorable apple cake--a family recipe.
She said the cake had to be refrigerated for one week before it could be eaten. Too shy in those days to ask for a family recipe, I've thought of this cake throughout the years and my I'net searches have been futile.
Anybody recall such a recipe? Thanks you, Bakers.
