For cutting tasks, look into the Dexter-Russell duo glide 8 inch chef knife. Not associated with company or vendors. It's funny looking, and takes a few hours to get used to, but puts center of gravity under hand, now out in front. Not perfect for every task , but I no longer have to wear a compression glove every day, working in a restaurant kitchen
