Yes, baking came to a screeching halt several years ago due to medical problem that I have.
Then a grandson developed an interest in baking all sorts of things including pies. I went out
on line and found King Arthur's Baking tips using my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for making pie
crusts and bread dough. He calls me with questions about something he is preparing.

Grandchildren from another family have become interested in baking and cooking. I have had
the pleasure of teaching them how to make bread with a mixer and, also, totally by hand. We
have had good visits and discussions about family history while making edible treats to take home!
