I also always had that "stick to the plastic" issue, and so, like Amy T., I've been using parchment paper recently. The KAF precut squares are absolutely perfect for this. Each piece is the right size for my press and I have 4 pieces (2 for each pressing) to alternate between so they dry out a bit between each ball of dough.
