I have a cast iron frying pan. I have masa. I have a tortilla press. I used a zip lock baggie cut to basically fit tortilla press. I mixed masa with water and proceeded to knead. I could not get the masa to quit sticking to the tortilla press/baggie. I put a baggie half down on bottom of press and then I put a ball of masa on baggie and put baggie on top of ball. I pressed. My tortilla looked pretty good when I lifted the top of the press and it always came up with the masa still on the baggie. At that point it was a complete failure. I was unable to get them off the zip lock without tearing. Do I need to go out and buy some play dough in order to get the feel right?
