I love baking with rye flour but I'm having a very hard time finding it in my local stores since the pandemic started. The few bags I'm finding are also very small and very expensive. Is this just a pandemic thing and supply will increase as things get back to normal? Or is the desire for rye flour declining and therefore supply will continue to be low? My local stores are carrying lots of gluten free options (almond, rice, oat). Is the desire for these gluten-free options overwhelming the more traditional options like rye?
