I get it that the pan size is important. BUT, do you measure the top or the bottom? I've never known.
My favorite pan is William-Sonoma's gold bread pan. The top measures 9"x 5" x 3"deep, measured on the inside.
It's true that most of my bread has a mushroom top and is not a batter type. It seems I would need to get the 9" x 4" x 4" pan to be successful with this recipe.
